Where are you located?

All services are conducted virtually by TeleHealth via a HIPAA secure platform.  I am licensed in the state of Colorado which means I can meet with anyone that resides in the state of Colorado.

Do you provide a free consult and what can I expect?

I provide a free 10-15 minute phone call that includes what services you are requesting, answering brief questions, and setting up the first appointment.  We will work together to create a plan that works for you.

Do you take insurance?

I accept the following insurances:
  • Aetna
  • Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield
  • Bright Health Plan
  • Centivo
  • Cigna
  • Foster Source
  • Justice Reskill Benefit Network
  • Lucent Health - Summit County Government Plan
  • Medicare
  • Medicare Supplemental Plan
  • Medicare Advantage plans with Aetna, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Humana, United Healthcare)
  • United Healthcare
  • TriWest.
***I encourage all potential clients to confirm their plans and in-network benefits with their insurance provider as each plan has different coverage before we start therapy.

Do you do self-pay/out-of-pocket?

Self-pay option is great for those that do not have mental health coverage under their insurance plans, desire more privacy, and/or their co-pay or insurance rate is similar to out of pocket fees.  My session fee is $100.  In some cases, insurances will reimburse out-of-pocket expenses for mental health services.  Upon request, I am happy to provide you with receipts of service and/or a “Superbill” to submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement, which will require a mental health diagnosis.  I can not guarantee reimbursement as it is based on your insurance company and individual insurance plan.

Finding a therapist that is right for you may just be the scariest part of therapy, right?  Would if they are “weird?”  Would if they make me do things I think are strange?  Am I stuck with them forever?  Here are some tips to help you find a therapist you can trust and one which helps you to grow.

Questions to Ask on Your Consultation Call:

  • What are your credentials?
  • Fee?  Insurance? Schedule?
  • Do you have specialties/training that could help with my main complaint?
  • If you have specific preferences for help, please state in initial phone call such as if you have a specific faith, cultural contexts, or values you would like to be honored and ask if the therapist/counselor can adhere.
